Please be aware that any application for new restrictions must be supplemented by evidence of local support in the form of a petition. This petition must evidence the support of at least 75% of affected residents / businesses / motorists. For advice on the area to petition for your specific proposal, please contact us at [email protected] and we'll be happy to advise. Any applications that do not have supporting petitions will not be progressed.
Please note that the TRO process can take in excess of 18 months from application to installation, even if the request is agreed. This is influenced by many factors such as funding, public consultations and the legislated process
